The link you gave is broken.
No, by biology, using the biota data bases like the ones at EPA and
UN to enrich what species of plants and animals are most like be
referred to, as well as the geodata databases to be firm up the
locations of uncertain places, like where five rivers come together,
and even using some of the wonderful genetic databases now to examine
the different tribes and their diseases.
I think the SemanticBible has much more to tell us than we've yet found.

Biology ones? Do you mean is it possible to link to taxonomy data
from UniProt or Bio2RDF to describe animals that are referenced?
Ie, use http://bio2rdf.org/taxonomy:9606 to say someone is a homo
sapien?
Cheers,
Peter

GeoNames Ontology related to you? And are you going to link to other
sources, like the biology ones?

Hi all,
I've publicly released a very early version of our Linked Data
SemanticBible effort. I've currently versioned it "Alpha1".
Our SemanticBible is a Linked Data Space for information about the
Bible, it's currently very New Testament orientated but we have
longer
term plans to include Old Testament stuff. It started life as the
semanticbible.com semantic web project, but we've decided to go
further by providing it on the Linked Data Cloud.
I've got an about page here:
http://semanticbible.openlinksw.com/about/
There are four "starting point" linked data URIs (which return HTML
or
RDF depending on your request):
* http://semanticbible.openlinksw.com/bible/cgi : The Composite
Gospel
: holds information about the stories in the Gospels
* http://semanticbible.openlinksw.com/bible/NTIndividuals :New
Testament Individuals : holds information about people and places
referenced in the New Testament
* http://semanticbible.openlinksw.com/ontology/cgi : The Composite
Gospel Ontology : the vocabulary for describing the stories in the
Gospel
* http://semanticbible.openlinksw.com/ontology/NTNames : The New
Testament Names Ontology : The vocabulary for describing the people
and places referenced in the New Testament
And I've also blogged about it here:
http://vanirsystems.com/danielsblog/2008/08/21/semanticbible-linked-
data-version-alpha1/
Please be aware that the service may change where I'm improving and
enhancing it. I've got plenty of things to do to it, but comments
and
feature requests are always welcome either to my openlink email or
by
skype.
I look forward to hearing from some of you soon.
Daniel
