Hi,

ISWC2009 is about to begin tomorrow, and we're sure to have an interesting week ahead of us! Just like in previous years, ISWC2009 provides information about its papers, authors, events, etc. as linked open data. The data is freely available at http://data.semanticweb.org/conference/iswc/2009 , where you can either start browsing it in your Web browser, or access it with any kind of RDF-aware application. Some example resources:

- general chair Enrico Motta: http://data.semanticweb.org/person/enrico-motta
- a paper from the research track:
http://data.semanticweb.org/conference/iswc/2009/paper/research/311
- a workshop at ISWC2009:
http://data.semanticweb.org/workshop/terra_cognita/2009

The complete dump of ISWC2009 data is available at http://data.semanticweb.org/dumps/conferences/iswc-2009-complete.rdf . Also, there is a SPARQL endpoint for your querying needs at http://data.semanticweb.org/sparql .

Note that you can also comment on any paper you find interesting. Your comments will then become part of the linked data about that paper as SIOC statements.

We will also update the dataset with more information in the days to come, e.g. with additional workshop data.

Have a great conference, either on site or (like me) from anywhere else in the world!

Cheers,
Knud Möller and Richard Cyganiak
