Great news, thanks for this post.  Congratulations!

Forwarding to the W3C Government Linked Data working group who has vocabularies 
for Gov't use as a deliverable.  Also forwarding to Pierre Desrochers of 
Library and Archives Canada in the event you two haven't previously met.  
Pierre is a chapter author on the soon to be published book "Linking Government 
Data (David Wood, editor, Springer 2011).
