It does, thank you. That's really good. It means that, for example, the
Crossover project can create its directory of policy modelling tools and
related stuff knowing that, in time, it will also be accessible vis the
directory you've built at dir.w3.org. If I were a teenager I'd say
'awesome' but I'm a little past that so I guess it has to be groovy ;-)

Hi Phil,
Are you asking whether different instances of a Community Directory can search
one another? If so, the answer is yes when Callimachus supports federation,
which is on the roadmap but not yet scheduled. The data is all in RDF.
Hope that answers your question.

@Bernadette - Gannon's question raises one I had in mind.
If separate directories are created using Callimachus, can they be linked so
that each has access to the other? At least in theory if not (yet) in practice?

This project [1] has almost identical goals as the W3C Linked Data Community
Directory. The difference is that all potential communities have been
identified (and are not too numerous to list in HTML).
A Regional Directory for Australia is at [2]. Whatever modifications are
necessary to integrate the W3C Linked Data Community Directory into the
Callimachus [3] Platform would be nearly identical.
