The Web and Internet Science (WAIS) Research Group at the University of
Southampton is offering 3 (senior) research fellow/assistant positions to begin
early 2015.
The positions will be aligned with several collaborative research projects
involving several academic
and industrial partners across Europe, which are planned to start in
January/February 2015.
The projects have a duration of three to four years and cover research and
innovation topics at the crossroads between
data and Web science, including data analytics, open data, social computing,
and semantic technologies.
The ideal candidate holds an MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science or a related
field.
Candidates seeking a senior research fellow appointment should, however, have a
doctoral degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
