STI Innsbruck (www.sti-innsbruck.at <http://www.sti-innsbruck.at>) is a
research institute at the University of Innsbruck engaged in research
and development to bring information and communication technologies of
the future into today`s world. STI Innsbruck is currently looking for
candidates for the following University position with the start date of
01.10.2015 (duration: 2 years, with a possibility of extension)
*Postdoc (40h/week)*
*Responsibilities:*
Development and implementation of courses in the area of information and
communication systems for the tourism sector
Supervision of students
Participation in research projects
High-quality research
Writing of research papers (workshops, conferences, journals) and
participation in conference, meetings
Funding acquisition
Training and further education
Administrative tasks
*Required qualifications:*
Doctoral degree in Computer Science or comparable discipline, preferably
related to semantic technologies and/or eTourism, and scientific
achievements in addition to the dissertation
Publications in high-level international journals and conferences
Teaching experience
Research interest in areas such as Smart Data, Linked Data, Semantic
Web, Semantic Services, Rule-based Systems, Online Communications,
Social Media, eTourism
Postdoc experience and/or relevant work experience
Good English language skills, knowledge of German is an advantage
Willingness to work on an international team
Willingness to combine formal research with real-world practice in
national and international projects
*Salary:*
The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this
position amounts to € 3.546 per month (14 times). The salary will be
higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
