A fully funded three-year PhD position is available at the Center for
Data-intensive Systems (http://daisy.aau.dk), Department of Computer
Science, Aalborg University (AAU), Denmark. The position is available
for start over the summer/fall of 2016.
Research topic:
More and more data is published on the Web as RDF or Linked Open Data.
Available datasets are naturally distributed, constantly changing, and
have been published at different times, by different communities, in
different languages, etc. We are looking for a talented and motivated
PhD student whose work will help overcome these challenges and enable
efficient query processing over Web data.

Requirements:
Applicants must have a master's degree in computer science or a closely
related field, with very good grades. Good knowledge in relation to the
research topic described above and strong implementation skills are
required. Good communication skills in English, oral as well as written,
are essential.
