Yes, it is from Barend Mons. I suppose that I should also supply the link to the nature article about it (sorry for the subscription-only stuff):

We have a collaboration with Barend Mons through the Dutch BioRange program for bioinformatics research (sub project integrative bioinformatics). I'm afraid that doesn't mean that I know much about the technical details of his latest efforts (yet?).

While I'm sending links to Nature articles, I think that this will interest many of you:

n.b. Interesting that "Beyond standardization" found a home in the Opinion section.

I believe this is Barend Mons work.

Had a couple of conversations with him last year (at the SwissProt anniversary, and in Cambridge). Even have a proposal pending. (crossing my fingers). See this page. I don't know if Eric Jain is involved.

Very nice, Scott!

Simple - clear - and it makes the point of how the combination of SemWebTech and text mining combined play a pivotal role.

Is Eric Jain's RDF-ization of UniProt being used in this WikiProteins system?

I assume "Knowlet" is now a registered trademark.

Thanks.

Cheers,
