Questions about SPARQL-DL

Hello,

I'm relatively new to semantic web work.  I have some questions about 
SPARQL-DL.

I just learned of the about the new Derivo SPARQL-DL engine 
<http://www.derivo.de/en/resources/sparql-dl-api.html>.  Can it be used 
from Protege?  If so, is there a guide available?  Fyi, I'm aware of and 
have currently loaded the owl2query 
<http://krizik.felk.cvut.cz/km/owl2query/> one in 4.1.

Also it is possible to use SPARQL-DL create rules that modify existing 
facts and rules?
