To be clear, XMLHttpRequest is already layered on top Fetch. There's a couple of minor improvements I still think might be worth making, but overall this is done and has in place for quite a while now. Making XMLHttpRequest a chapter of Fetch rather than a standalone document is mostly a matter of moving some text, something that can be done in a day. -- https://annevankesteren.nl/
