Hi Ryan,

There’s nothing in the Bylaws that says that ballots can’t be modified during
the discussion period. In fact, I remember that happening on several previous
occasions. However, at this point, I would expect such changes to be minimal,
as we’ve already had a few weeks of discussion, and many rounds of edits.

From a practical standpoint, in the several weeks that we’ve been talking about
this ballot, I’ve only received requests for changes from you, Gerv, Chris, and
Kirk. All of that feedback has been incorporated into the draft. The feedback
I’ve received from other members has been that we’re doing a great job moving
this forward, they like the ballot, and let’s try to get this over the finish
line quickly.

It is time to proceed with the ballot, and move on with the CAB Forum’s work.

Approval Process

Kirk, Virginia, Chris,

From a process standpoint, is it a correct understanding that no further
modifications to this ballot can be made, now that Kirk has (unfortunately)
formally submitted it as a ballot? That is, at best, members can ask questions,
but that there is no further ability to respond to any concerns members may
have through modification of a ballot?

This is a viewpoint that had been expressed on at least one call prior, and I
wanted to confirm this understanding.
