Actalis votes "no". We appreciate the rationale behind the proposal, but both the proposed max certificate lifetime and implementation period are not workable, for the same reasons highlighted by other CAs in the forum. As to the maximum certificate lifetime, we believe that 27 months is a more reasonable choice; and the implementation period should be such that CAs are not forced to infringe contracts already in place with their enterprise customers.
