I’ve published the results for this ballot to the public website. Since it’s a 
SCWG ballot, I’ve kept the “Ballots” category for it and added a category 
called “Working Groups” with a “Server Certificate Working Group” category to 
make search and inclusion easier. Dimitris, I tried to update the ‘ultimate 
tables’ link you sent with the master ballots list, but it seems I don’t have 
permission to access that page.

The voting period for Ballot SC2 has ended and the ballot has failed.  Here are 
the results.

 

Voting by CAs – 25 votes total, including abstentions

D-TRUST, DigiCert, Entrust Datacard, GDCA, GlobalSign, GoDaddy, HARICA, Izenpe,

0 No votes: 

5 Abstain: Actalis, Comodo CA, Disig, KPN Corporate Market, SSC

100% of voting CAs voted in favor

 

Voting by browsers – 8 votes total, including abstentions

Under Bylaw 2.2(g), a ballot result will be considered valid only when more 
than half of the number of currently active Members has participated. Votes to 
abstain are counted in determining a quorum.  

 

At least one CA Member and one browser Member must vote in favor of a ballot 
for the ballot to be adopted.  This requirement was met

 

Bylaw 2.2(f) requires a yes vote by two-thirds of CA votes and 50%-plus-one 
browser votes for approval.  Votes to abstain are not counted for this purpose. 
 This requirement was met for CAs but was not met for browsers.  

 

Ballot SC2 fails.
