Administrative Updates

*       Anti-trust statement was read

*       Agenda was reviewed. No comments.

*       Approval of November 12 minutes

o   No comments. Minutes approved.

 

Forum Infrastructure Subcommittee

Jos Purvis (Cisco) CA/B Forum Vice Chair

 

*       Problems found in mailers. Suggest members check archive vs their inbox 
to see if anything missed. 

*       Members recommended to notify their internal IT department if mail is 
missing

*       Review of github: Ryan reviewed this in the SCWG call prior to this. 
Nothing further to add

*       Ballot process was discussed. Neat things can be done with watermarks. 
Discussed how IETF handles their changes in github

 

Code Signing Certificate Working Group

Dean Coclin (DigiCert) CA/B Forum Chair

 

*       CSCWG-7: Bruce sent a draft to the list and is looking for endorsers. 
Ballot merges some EV and non EV requirements

*       3072 bit root keys: no movement from June 2021 implementation date. CAs 
that need to update should submit new roots to Microsoft ASAP

*       Discussion about changing wording to FIPS 140-1 OR 140-2. Also, 
discussed removing “equivalent” wording. Will need to discuss with Ian on next 
call

 

S/MIME Working Group

Stephen Davidson (DigiCert)

 

*       KPMG Korea approved as a new member

*       Working group is currently at 39 members

*       Focusing on Leaf certificate profile

o   Investigating current practices



 

 

Additional Administrative Updates

*       Dean said the Spring meeting will definitely be virtual and suggested 
the June meeting be virtual as well

*       Trev suggested we nail down the dates very soon

*       Next Meeting

o   The next scheduled meeting is canceled because it lands on Christmas Eve.

o   January 7th is the now the next meeting.
