Well Joe, If the tranny is about broke and seals are near worn out -- no need to put new tires on the old gal. But if it just blows a little smoke and drinks a little extra oil maybe all it needs is some TLC. So the questions are what does it need and do I got it to lend? Or is that shiney new-to-me one down at Cal's a better expenditure? If you got no answer, I'll tell you the twin stories of the slimey slugs that changed my life 26 years apart on the same old dirt road.

You should run. So should I. I've already been nominated. But would step aside if Peter wants to stand for elections. Someone who know the law could do a lot towards cleaning up the TLDA. Right now Peter Dambier a director of the TLDA has been waiting two months to receive a certified copy of the by laws. Holding them accountable is important. But Hugh - only if you have the time to spare. Don't bother unless you have the time. The TLDA is a huge mess. In the words of one of the directors - they have done absolutly nothing in the seven years they have been around. Lot's of potential - but no leadership. cheers joe baptista On Tue, Jun 2, 2009 at 4:38 PM, Hugh Dierker <[email protected]> wrote: Even my totally whining and broke state (which coincidentally has the 6th highest GNP in the world) gives us a little somethin somethin about what the elections are about.
