Hugh - This organization will rise and fall on whether we get people to
participate in a positive way to build the organization into
something that is credible and of value to the community.

We are trying to offer an alternative vision to the one that ICANN presents.

The start to that is the core document that describes how the Compliance
Committee vettes TLD instances for the reccommended list.

Might I suggest, if you want to help out, that you lend a hand cleaning this
up. I'm no lawyer, I just wrote it from a policy perspective.
I'm sure it would get howls of laughs from even first year law students.

Just a suggestion

Thanks in advance for any support that you decide to give us.

John

It is often my modis operendi to buy stake in something that I want to
have a say in.

Perhaps I would like to pony up and buy that debt --- perhaps enforce
-- perhaps not.

Q: who signed that doc with the SoS? Who owns it?

ATTENTION: Members and the public who monitor the TLDA.

It has come to my attention that David is owed $60.00 USD for filing
our registrations with the State of Georgia. Registrations that Karl our former
Secretary completely ignored. David filed the documentation on time to prevent
default with the state.

I fund raised back then I think about $130.00 USD. Maybe more.
Collected through PayPal mainly. This $130.00 is stuck at PayPal until David
gets a $100.00 USD donation from Bradley Thornton to open up a bank account.
That check has been in the mail since David filed the documentation on March
31st, 2009. Thats two months this chec has been in the mail.

I say this to Bradley Thornton - get off your ass and keep your
commitments. There's good intentions Bradley - but when those good intentions
get in the way of common sense a cause this organization to owe a director
money is simply bad manners.

Bradley - if you can't afford $100 bucks - just send him a cheque for
50, or 20, or 10, or even five bucks. What ever you can afford.

A people of the TLDA. I plan on running for the position of director
in this TLDA election. I can make the board accountable. If you support me -
consider sending a $5.00 donation in the form of a check to David so he can
open up a bank account, so he is then able to transfer the PayPal funds and
then pay himself what he is owed. That is the reason why I raised the $130
bucks that are sitting in the PayPal account. So all we need is a few paper
checks to open up a bank account.

This fund raising slogan is - brother can you spare five bucks. If
you can - send your check to David at:

          C/O David Scott III
          Top Level Domain Association (TLDA)
          4067 Signal Ridge
          Lilburn, Georgia 30047
          United States

Even international bank drafts, Canadian checks are accepted. Please
make you payment in U.S. Dollars - if at all possible.

Let's get David paid back. It embarrasses me as a member we have
these sort of debts because some people make promises they do not keep. If you
have faith in David - and I certainly do - let's support him with a five buck
check. Or whatever you can afford.

          cheers
          joe baptista
