It turns out that DocBook applies that template whenever you use the <author> tag, regardless of whether you provide names or not. I guess this makes sense, because <author> is designed for the name of an individual author.[1] Because the author is a corporate author in this case, "as opposed to an individual"[2], use <corpauthor> instead: <authorgroup> <corpauthor>Red Hat Engineering Content Services</corpauthor> </authorgroup> Note: unfortunately, <corpauthor> doesn't support email addresses.
