OK - I've filed a bug at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1099643
It's assigned to the publican component, as I presume that since the libxml2 patch was to fix a security issue, the change will need to be on the publican side. Could be wrong, but it's a starting point.
