Just to be sure that I understand:

What is the meaning of "dropped"?
1. they were left out
2. they were inserted

If option 2. above is the case, when you say hey "dropped some questions
regarding copyright reform into their polling", it implies that that
polling was about something else, but they included some questions about
copyright.
