Hi all, I want to welcome Juliette also on-list and congratulate her on her first success :)
I think it is also great that she managed to record a video of the discussion and share it online: https://twitter.com/juliettedlrx/status/1661280743362789379 The rapporteur on the file is saying that it would be regrettable to restrict access to knowledge resources like Wikipedia and that she thanks her colleagues in the committee for bringing the issue up and is supportive of the the corresponding amendment. Then the Minister of Culture says that the French government supports this amendment as well. It passes with support of the left, the right and the center. I do think this French example and this line of argumentation can "fly" in other jurisdictions, so it is good we have it documented.
