I realise the protocol wasn't designed to be used with desktop
software, but it's not like it can't be done. I've added support for
PSHB to my desktop feed reader (and it works ok behind my NAT router)
so it's not unthinkable that other desktop clients might have done the
same thing.

And as I said, I'd be interested in web-based clients too (that would
still count as server-to-server wouldn't it?).
