Dear Michael, Thanks for getting in touch. We are developing the PSHB to Push fat ATOM feeds from museum catalogue databases to both interested indigenous communities (those whose patrimony is held by the museums) as well as other expert communities (archaeologists, anthropologists, geographers, etc., etc.). Actually, the systems will allow subscription by anyone, but what we need to build in is some sort of filtering as these feeds are potentially huge. The model we are thinking of, at the moment, is a typical PSHB implementation (with a fairly easy to use front end for publishers and subscribers) but with subscriber set filtering either at the hub, or at the subscriber end. This is essential as none of our communities will be willing to dig through literally tens of thousands of records to find those of interest. As you probably already know, this is a common problem with scientific data anyway, but is a big problem when you start Pushing data.
Though we will not be using Drupal, or at least not explicitly, I would like to talk more about the project if you are interested.
