Okay I've got a mapper job running right now to fix up the bug. Many of you folks out there should see some auto-refresh subscription verification request from the Google hub. I've also narrowed the max expiration window to 10 days and set the default to 5 days (instead of 30 days). And I've set up the auto-subscription-refreshing process to run every day using the mapper framework to ensure we do not fall behind again.
