The answer seemed to be to return a 204 instead of 200 or 202. No real clue why 200/202 didn't work. I've had my eye on superfeedr for awhile and was a little bummed when it changed from 1000 free feeds to 25k free updates. This is why I'm going with google's free hub for now.
