Hey Ben, The great dlvr.it folks are on this group, so I'm sure they'll be able to tell you more. In the meantime, feel free to try out another pubsubhubbub enabled service, like Google Reader or http://notifixlite.appspot.com/. If you see the update propagated in realtime, then you'll know that the problem lies with dlvr.it.
Generally, I think pushpress works fine... but maybe somehting got in the middle.
