I have seen that many publish notifications from the AppSpot hub have been sending using the Content-Type of "text/xml" which is a violation of the specification.
http://pubsubhubbub.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/pubsubhubbub-core-0.3.html#contentdistribution We abide by the spec and reject any content not using the correct Content-Types, which is resulting in updates being "lost" and some user complaints generated. On one webserver alone, I recorded 16000 attempted updates (to 5700 separate endpoints) using "text/xml". -- Jay Rossiter | Software Engineer/System Administrator [email protected] | Cell: 503.896.6187 Website: dlvr.it | RSS: feeds.dlvr.it/dlvrit -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pubsubhubbub" group.
