Users are able to specify pulpcore and plugin versions that they wish ansible-pulp to install. The plugin versions specified are not always guaranteed to work with the version of pulpcore. As a result, users can end up with broken installations. I've written a story that describes the current plan for preventing this from happening to our users[0]. I'd like to have this implemented before we release pulpcore 3.2.0. Please provide feedback on the issue.
