All, Last week I committed changes to the agent:
1) pulpd not started at RPM install. This was changed for two changes. First, Fedora packaging guidelines. Second, this give admins the opportunity to to change the client.conf before the agent is started. 2) The pulpd agent only connects to the bus when the "url" is specified in the .conf file. When the "url" is commented out or the value is not specified, pulpd does nothing with the bus. -jeff
