Hi,

In the nodes docs
(http://pulp-user-guide.readthedocs.org/en/latest/nodes.html) it says:

2.The communication between the child and parent nodes is secured using
OAuth. The child node must have OAuth enabled and configured. Please see
/OAuth/
<http://pulp-user-guide.readthedocs.org/en/latest/authentication.html#oauth-config>
 for
instructions on enabling and configuring OAuth.

But then the docs for OAuth
(http://pulp-user-guide.readthedocs.org/en/latest/authentication.html#oauth-config)
say that OAuth is or will be deprecated:

Deprecated since version 2.4.0:OAuth support will be removed in a future
release of Pulp. Please do not write new code that uses OAuth against
Pulp, and please find a suitable replacement if you are already using it.

What should I use for authentication between child and parent nodes in 2.4+?

The deprecation is just a warning that a change is coming. For 2.4 and 2.5.0, nodes authentication continues to use OAuth.

Thanks,

Jason
