I found this in my pulp logs: ------------------------ /var/log/pulp.log ---------------------------- May 4 11:55:46 bumblebee pulp: pulp.server.content.sources.model:INFO: Refreshing [rhel-7-workstation-rpms] url:https://cdn.redhat.com/content/dist/rhel/workstation/7 May 4 11:55:46 bumblebee pulp: requests.packages.urllib3.connectionpool:INFO: Starting new HTTPS connection (1): cdn.redhat.com -----------------------------------------------------------------------
However, I don't have a repo called rhel-7-workstation-rpms. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- # pulp-admin rpm repo list --details | grep rhel-7-workstation-rpms | wc -l 0 # ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think I might have created it by mistake when I was setting things up, but I have long since deleted it. Now, it is attempting to "Refresh" this repo quite regularly: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- # grep -e rhel-7-workstation-rpms /var/log/pulp* | wc -l 134 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The refresh fails, because it is using the wrong URL, but it is re-trying approximately every minute. The sync that I want it to perform is waiting to begin... , but is not started. When I examine the running tasks (this is a bit awkward - see [0,1]), I find that there is no task involving any rhel-7-workstation-rpms: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ # pulp-admin tasks list | less ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Then search for "Running" I found these 3 tasks: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Operations: sync Resources: rhel-6.1-workstation-x86_64 (repository) State: Running Start Time: 2015-05-04T03:04:12Z Finish Time: Incomplete Task Id: b2dd7ac6-6334-4d0d-974d-d60786925416 Operations: sync Resources: rhel-6.1-workstation-x86_64-debug (repository) State: Running Start Time: 2015-05-04T03:05:04Z Finish Time: Incomplete Task Id: 4099e497-5bb3-4a4f-bf10-ccb15c09d457 Operations: sync Resources: rhel-6.0-workstation-x86_64-optional (repository) State: Running Start Time: 2015-05-04T03:06:52Z Finish Time: Incomplete Task Id: 764127c4-7dd9-4a04-a9eb-2bf5de0d0c0e ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I note that none of these involve rhel-7-workstation-rpms . How can I find out where this "Refreshing [rhel-7-workstation-rpms]" is coming from, and get rid of it? Pulp versions: I managed to upgrade my pulp server this morning. I was unable to sync epel using pulp [2], so I pointed /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo to an Australian mirror instead of my local pulp server. Then I was able to run the yum upgrade. ------------------------ rpm -qa | grep pulp --------------------------- pulp-admin-client-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch pulp-puppet-plugins-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch pulp-rpm-admin-extensions-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch pulp-puppet-admin-extensions-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch python-isodate-0.5.0-4.pulp.el7.noarch python-pulp-common-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch pulp-rpm-plugins-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch python-kombu-3.0.24-5.pulp.el7.noarch python-pulp-bindings-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch pulp-selinux-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch python-pulp-client-lib-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch python-pulp-rpm-common-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch pulp-server-2.6.0-1.el7.noarch ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [0] https://pulp.plan.io/issues/941 [1] https://pulp.plan.io/issues/851 [2] https://pulp.plan.io/issues/943 _______________________________________________ Pulp-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/pulp-list
