Thanks for your answer. Here is what I did
service mongod restart service qpidd restart service pulp_workers restart service pulp_celerybeat restart service pulp_resource_manager restart service httpd restart Remove orphan is still hanging at "waiting to begin" step pulp-admin -u admin -p admin orphan remove --type=rpm This command may be exited via ctrl+c without affecting the request. [-] Running... [|] Waiting to begin... Nothing strange in the logs: tail -f /var/log/pulp/*m ==> /var/log/pulp/celerybeat.log <== ==> /var/log/pulp/reserved_resource_worker-0.log <== ==> /var/log/pulp/resource_manager.log <== Any other idea ? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brian Bouterse Sent: mardi 14 avril 2015 15:02 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Pulp-list] Pulp removing orphan does not work -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Frédéric, A couple of things to check. Make sure that pulp_workers, pulp_resource_manager, and pulp_celerybeat are running, and ensure that the logs don't show errors when they start. Potentially restarting these services would be good. After ensuring your services are all running, try rerunning the orphan delete command. - -Brian On 04/14/2015 05:08 AM, Frédéric Conrotte wrote: > Hello > > > > Due to lack of disk space, I made the mistake to remove files from > /var/lib/pulp/content/rpm/ > > > > Now I have lots of orphaned RPMs that I would like to clean up. > > > > This command works correctly: > > # pulp-admin -u admin -p admin orphan list --type=rpm -details > > > > But this one is running infinitely and stops at "Waiting to begin" > > > > # pulp-admin -u admin -p admin orphan remove --type=rpm > > This command may be exited via ctrl+c without affecting the request. > > [-] > > Running... > > [|] > > Waiting to begin... > > > > In HTTP logs the same request is posted over and over: > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:35 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:37 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:38 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:39 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:40 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:41 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:42 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:44 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:45 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > 172.16.19.6 - - [14/Apr/2015:09:05:46 +0000] "GET > /pulp/api/v2/tasks/1edb10ef-7ba0-492c-ade2-3baa2e8df662/ HTTP/1.1" > 200 506 "-" "-" > > > > I'm using Pulp Server 2.5.3 > > > > Do you have a procedure to be able to remove orphans again ? > > > > Thanks > > > > Frederic > > > > > > _______________________________________________ Pulp-list mailing list > [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/pulp-list > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJVLQ/WAAoJEK48cdELyEfyXXEH/06YElMPaBynFfQKGAHGrKUx D7I46+Z7bYPeaRXILHoyY2AS841ipb7U435/D9DJGzNgWVK0pm6SkH3CtxqLsI6G 8nkJ2cz4J355ffUh8ORsGuJMuy5qZIFhKgQfXmX9N6F3lYHqPTvgYhlMwHBJMIAO MUWwZ8NZH15VMmewkleJqEbrCQ9tH7FcJjqkydPLYd8kPBjNO+PZmgBsqIJ5/fhh 4DsnjuCo7sP/0uIn9w30iltlLL+9gekV2vM0kl4rZCvMtQTUDhtYM0qAPrwe4ccv hCaUiZk3glBV1csMP3hG3NHq+80haKKGgEDAZdisgV5hq2sxXj8ytlHed6eadrU= =xU1E -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Pulp-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/pulp-list _______________________________________________ Pulp-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/pulp-list
