Barnaby,
Thanks for that link.

I think that the export and import commands should also be discussed more formally in the main part of the documentation, not just in the recipes section. At the very least, placeholder sections should be created in the logical places, containing links to the recipe.

Thanks for pointing out the recipe,
Ben.

Hi,

There is documentation of how the export command works at http://pulp-rpm.readthedocs.org/en/latest/user-guide/recipes.html#export-repositories-and-repository-groups

Subject: [Pulp-list] pulp-admin rpm repo export documentation

Hi,

I need to configure a second pulp server that is disconnected from the
first one. I need to export the repositories from pulp 1 to pulp 2. I am
using hdd media.

I hound mention of the export command at

https://pulp.readthedocs.org/en/latest/user-guide/admin-client/repositories.html?highlight=export

However, there is no description of how the command is used.

Could you please show me where this command is documented, and how the
data may be imported at the other end?

Do I have to create the repos and then import them, or can I just import
the repo to create it?

Regards,
Ben Stanley.
