Hi, I am struggeling a bit with my latest Pulp installation on CentOS 7.
I am receiving this error message: --- $ pulp-admin login -u usera Enter password: The connection was refused when attempting to contact the server [servername.localdomain]. Check the client configuration to ensure the server hostname is correct. --- * 'usera' has been defined in `/etc/pulp/server.conf`. * 'servername.localdomain' is the replacment of the actual servername. DNS is configured and the server reachable with that entry. My initial setup was done via Puppet 3.8, but when I could not find any error in the service logs and not fix the error either, I followed the manual installation at https://pulp.readthedocs.org/en/latest/user-guide/installation.html and got the same result. * Port localhost:80 is open, port localhost:443 is not. I am not sure if * this is important if I am only trying to connect from the local server * itself. * The thing that is different compared to previous installations is, that I do not have a full understanding of the initial setup of the host I am installing on. So I will go and do a reference installation on a VM to check any weird configuration there, but if somebody is familiar with this error and could point something obvious out to check that I missed: that would be very kind. regards, Daniel _______________________________________________ Pulp-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/pulp-list
