The pulpcore 3.0.0rc8 and pulp_file 0.1.0rc1 packages are available on PyPI [0][1]. There are a lot of changes that have happened; see the release notes for all the details. Some of the major changes include typed repos, the merging of pulpcore-plugin into pulpcore, browseable content, a new FileSystemExporter, and a CONTENT_ORIGIN setting.
# Release Notes pulpcore - https://docs.pulpproject.org/en/3.0/nightly/changes.html#rc8-2019-11-13 pulp_file - https://github.com/pulp/pulp_file/blob/master/CHANGES.rst#010rc1-2019-11-14 # Can I upgrade from earlier RCs? No, you should install RC8 on a fresh to fresh database. Upgrading from earlier Release Candidates is not supported. # What plugins are compatible with RC8? There were breaking changes introduced in RC8 so plugin releases prior to RC8 will likely not be compatible with RC8. Please follow the Pulp list for more information about plugin releases. # How do I try this? * Use pulplift ( https://github.com/pulp/pulplift ) which creates a VM for you locally and runs the Pulp installer. * Use the Pulp Installer ( https://github.com/pulp/ansible-pulp ) on a machine you provisioned. # What about client bindings? Python [2] and Ruby [3] bindings are built+published to PyPI and rubgems.org respectively. See [2][3] for details on usage. # Where do I get help? Ask questions via [email protected] or come into the #pulp channel on Freenode for help.
