 a dependency be defined.) After I installed it in the regular way via YAST
 everything is OK and Skype is working, too.

 If you run a graphical desktop you want the X11 related modules (they
 ensure PA does not exit when idle and also allow for easy SSHing to remote
 machines to run audio apps remotely). Again it's an OpenSuse
 packaging/installation issue to ensure that this is installed, so any
 discussion about this should be taken up with them.
