I've copied this ticket to Bugzilla:

There this issue has slightly lower chance of getting totally ignored
(although, due to lack of resources, it's still a possibility). Further
discussion should happen in Bugzilla. Interested parties should re-
subscribe to the new bug. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I'll close this ticket as "duplicate".
