Priority: medium
Bug ID: 65289

Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: PulseAudio stays running after session has ended
QA Contact: [email protected]
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: NEW
Version: unspecified
Component: daemon
Product: PulseAudio
When PulseAudio runs as a part of a session, the "exit-idle-time" value should
be ignored, so that PulseAudio doesn't stay running after the session has
ended.
I believe the exit-idle-time option exists only to handle the cases where
PulseAudio is autospawned outside a proper login session. In those cases
exit-idle-time is needed, because otherwise PulseAudio would either run forever
or exit immediately after the first client exits, neither of which is good.
