We may also release the current version of X2Go Client with an older version of PulseAudio if a regression is found (until I came along and upgraded our bundled version of PulseAudio to 5.0, we shipped both 1.1 and 0.9.6 via separate x2goclient installers.) Anyway, I'll try specifying an absolute path to .pulse-cookie in before I try setting XDG_CONFIG_HOME.
