Stéphane <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #1 from Stéphane <[email protected]> --- The power supply of my FastTrack Ultra died 2 years ago, so I used to power my device with USB Only. It did no difference for my use on Ubuntu (14.04, 14.10 an 15.04), but I knew that on MS Windows, some functionality would not be available. But since I installed Ubuntu 15.10, as I said, sound was bad, and bass were missing. But today I found a working 5V power supply, and tested my card again... and it worked perfectly (perfect sound again). So my conclusion : Something changed in the alsa drivers or kernel between ubuntu 15.04 and ubuntu 15.10. ____________________________________________________ | Powered by USB Only | Additional 5V Power Supply | _____________|______________________|_____________________________| Ubuntu 15.04 | Working | Working | _____________|______________________|_____________________________| Ubuntu 15.10 | Poor Sound/Miss Bass | Working | _____________|______________________|_____________________________| So finally, no bug in pulseaudio or Alsa... just an evolution. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
