Hello,
When I use my Zoom H2n as an audio interface, it shows up in dmesg as:
> [ 1125.666708] scsi 5:0:0:0: Direct-Access ZOOM H2n SD R&W 0.01
> PQ: 0 ANSI: 2
However in pavucontrol, it shows as
> H4 Digital Recorder
It would make more sense if it showed up as
"H2n Digital Recorder" or
"Zoom H2n Handy Recorder" since that is it's official name or just
"Zoom H2n"
This might be a problematic issue in the rare case of somebody having both a H4
and H2n connected.
