The motherboard is an Intel DQ77KB so it is pure Intel! I will have a look at
the hdajackretask documentation but from what I have seen it is on the sparse
side so will need a bit of research. Thanks for the suggestions. I'd still like
this to be resolved as working code within the pulseaudio packages.
