This is fixed for Linux. PulseAudio 9.0 introduced the memfd shared memory
mechanism, which can be enabled by putting "enable-memfd = yes" to daemon.conf.
PulseAudio 10.0 will have the feature enabled by default. Other operating
systems may exhibit the same problem, but I'll close this bug anyway. If this
is still a problem for anyone after 9.0, please reopen.
