--- Comment #19 from Martin Ejdestig <[email protected]> ---
The patch does not seem to work. Will attach new log soon.
> I hope this is helpful:
I was mainly looking for how to not have to do "make install" as root (once
bitten...).
Configured with:
CFLAGS="-g -O0" ./configure --prefix=$HOME/Desktop/Temp/usr
--sysconfdir=$HOME/Desktop/Temp/etc --localstatedir=$HOME/Desktop/Temp/var
--with-udev-rules-dir=$HOME/Desktop/Temp/lib/udev/rules.d
--with-systemduserunitdir=$HOME/Desktop/Temp/usr/lib/systemd/user
--enable-force-preopen
installed and overrode the pulseaudio.service ExecStart line by running
"systemctl --user edit pulseaudio":
I can see that the binary executed in user B's session is the one in
$HOME/Desktop/Temp/usr . I assume modules in $HOME/Desktop/Temp/usr are
preferred to the system installed ones. :)
