The syslog errors most likely don't have anything to do with sound card
detection problem (clearly there's some sound card detected that is creating
these error messages).
What sound card is missing? Can you attach the output from "pactl list"? Use
the "Add an attachment" link (sometimes people copy long texts to the comment
box, which makes following the discussion difficult).
