Lennart,

I need to use the spdif port, as this computer is attached to a DTS 
decoder/receiver.
I've tried "device=spdif:0", "device=iec958:0", "device=surround51:0", all of 
which give the same error.
I don't have access to the computer right now, but I can dump the message for 
each of those cases.
