I've mentioned earlier in my initial mail that my /tmp folder contains two different pulse-XXXX directories. My googling has revealed that it seems the XXXX should be my username, but as far as I've observed, that does not seem to be the case in my install, could that be the source of the problem?

For example, ls /tmp | grep pulse currently shows:-
pulse-TcnhywWYiGl9
And after I run paplay on the 32-bit chroot, the same command shows:-
pulse-PKdhtXMmr18n
pulse-TcnhywWYiGl9

This same behaviour can be observed on both my machines, the folder in /tmp does not contain my username, instead preferring some sort of randomly generated string. Is this a problem with my setup? I'm using Arch Linux on both my machines.
