#382: module-hal-detect does not detect IEC958 outputs

     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: low | Milestone:
Component: module-hal-detect | Severity: minor
 Keywords: |

 aplay -l shows:

card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC883 Analog [ALC883 Analog]
   Subdevices: 1/1
   Subdevice !#0: subdevice !#0
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 1: ALC883 Digital [ALC883 Digital]
   Subdevices: 1/1
   Subdevice !#0: subdevice !#0

However, PulseAudio Manager will show only one sink:
 alsa_output.pci_8086_284b_sound_card_0_alsa_playback_0

Same about recording (I have 3 output subdevices, pulseaudio shows only
 the first).

I think that PulseAudio should autodetect all input and output devices on
a soundcard, not just show the first.
