#388: No device detected (various systems and distros) ------------------------+--------------------------------------------------- Reporter: Neolander | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: daemon | Severity: major Resolution: | Keywords: ------------------------+--------------------------------------------------- Comment (by coling):
I'd start by debugging your HAL setup. Pulse relies fairly heavily on the HAL system to get a view of the hardware on your machine. Make sure hald is running and that you can connect to is as a regular user via the system dbus. The output of {{{pulseaudio -vvv}}} ''attached'' to this ticket may help debug things. -- Ticket URL: <http://www.pulseaudio.org/ticket/388#comment:1> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
