#427: SB Live 5.1 PulseAudio Stereo Sound Not Using Subwoofer. --------------------+------------------------------------------------------- Reporter: hobbes | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: daemon | Severity: normal Keywords: | --------------------+------------------------------------------------------- Hi everyone.
I have an odd problem with PulseAudio (Ubuntu Jaunty and Fedora 10) Every stereo sound is being played on 5 channels (C, FR, FL, SR, SL) except subwoofer. See this pic: http://img391.imageshack.us/my.php?image=capturadetela1cc4.jpg Oddly enough listening to a Online Web AM Radio broadcasting in mono, all speakers works as expected. see this pic: http://img151.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot1yv5.jpg 5.1 sound files are working better than ever, with a perhaps too low central channel see this pic: http://img151.imageshack.us/my.php?image=capturadetela2ev9.jpg I may also add that before upgrading to jaunty and later on to Fedora 10, all channels used to work.
