I would too prefer the name showed directly, as having only description
shown when choosing a sink is not very informative when there are four
called "Remapped ...". Also it would be very nice, for the same reason, if
the playback and recording tab could show the names too, although that
seems to be harder to do (getting module from id, parsing name from
arguments?).
Lastly the order "name (desc)" is in my opinion more handy.
